Secure and Intelligent Edge Research Lab (SIEGE)
Pioneering the design of secure and AI-enabled systems for edge devices.
We envision being the world’s leading force in secure and intelligent edge innovation, driving the global standard for trustworthy AI and microelectronic systems, ensuring a safer, smarter, and more resilient future.
We address the urgent need for security and trust in AI-powered and interconnected technologies by 1) conducting world-class research in AI, AI for Security, Security of AI, Side-Channel Analysis, LLMs, and Agentic AI, 2) Publishing groundbreaking results in leading journals and conferences to advance global knowledge, 3) Guiding our work with the principles of integrity, innovation, collaboration, and rigorous inquiry.
The SentriAlign team, which includes Zafaryab Haider, Md Hafizur Rahman, Sarah Glatter, Prabuddha Chakraborty has been selected to participate in the University of Maine’s MIRTA 8.0 Commercialization Accelerator cohort (January 14 – May 11, 2026).
We’re delighted to share that four of our students recently represented the lab at the WARREN B. NELMS ANNUAL CONFERENCE (2025).
Paper published in Journal of Hardware and Systems Security.
Tasneem, Haider and Sarah presented research talks at the Sandia National Laboratories ML/DL workshop 2025.
Exciting!! IoT Test Bed is nearing Launch. Great work by Haider and Hafizur.
